What made you choose to work with wine?
Whilst working in restaurants and bars I was fortunate enough to be able to taste a wide variety of wines and I found the massive array of flavours and aromas fascinating. When the opportunity arose for me to join Local Wine Company I jumped at it!
What are you responsible for?
My main role is to keep the website up to date and organise the delivery routes for us all. I also create any bespoke cases for customers who are looking for specific wines. My deliveries tend to be the local ones around Romiley and Marple as well as Glossop and High Peak.
What is the most enjoyable part of your job?
I’ve always been a people person so I enjoy meeting and talking to our customers. I also enjoy tasting any new wines we source!!
What is your favourite wine?
I have recently been enjoying the Escena Rioja, I’m a big fan of the region and I think it’s a brilliant example of a classic Rioja.
